Our Journey

Newteam F.C. began its journey in August 2019, driven by ambition and a strong sense of teamwork among five French- Connection veterans, led by Sebastien Gelas and Anthony Leyme. Our debut showcased our potential with a convincing 2-0 victory, leading to a third-place finish in our inaugural season, demonstrating our competitive spirit right from the start.

Named in homage to the soccer anime, Captain Tsubasa, Newteam F.C. embodies the spirit of new beginnings and the strength found in teamwork. Our path to the playoffs, culminating in a championship victory, highlighted our growth from a collection of individuals to a cohesive team with a shared goal.

Facing the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we remained undeterred, returning stronger for the summer tournament of 2021 with key new team members. This resilience led to another season of excellence, securing our place as a consistent force in the league.

Our promotion to the Primera Division is a testament to our team's ambition and growth, supported by a community that believes in us. Along the way, we've celebrated both individual and team successes, each victory and achievement building upon the foundation of Newteam F.C.'s history
